Replacing the Thermal/Fire Safety Switch

Follow the below steps to change out your GEN3 Attic Breeze’s thermal and fire safety switch combo from within your attic.

Tools Needed:

• N/A

From the attic:

1. Locate the thermal/fire safety switch combo at the base of your fan.
2. Disconnect the thermal/fire safety switch by pulling the two black connectors away from each other. (DO NOT pull excessively to ensure wire integrity.)
3. Replace the thermal/fire safety switch with the new switch received from Attic Breeze by connecting the two black connectors together again. (CAUTION! Once the switch is connected, the fan will begin spinning again.)
4. Ensure that there is no silver showing on the connectors to secure a proper connection.
